Shanghai & S**t pt. 1
I have arrived in Shanghai this today. It has been a DAY and a half. I don't know where to start. Everything STARTED out great. STARTED.... I promise to update after I knock back these beverages and fix Jose (my laptop) until then, I thought I'd post a photo:
Guess what she is EATING???? Octopus on a stick. Yup. a WHOLE octopus on a stick. They sell them here for like 3 US dollars. For less than a $5 footlong you too can enjoy a whole octopus on stick. In the street. Sounds delicious. Even with that 8 legged creature on her stick, I bet she had a better day than I... or let me rephrase. 8AM-12pm was great... I didn't even care it was raining here in Shanghai...but you know life happens. stay tuned.

So clearly this Wonton Soup thing is the only way I can keep up with you. Ya doing ur thing n tho there are ups and downs you are makin moves and that us all that counts. You are in a atmosphere where everything is new and different. Embrace that and dont let the challenge of unfamiliarity, language and funds rain on ur experience. The fact that you made it to Shanghai is proof that u r doing just fine and can overcome ne things. So quit ur Whinin...AINT NO BODY GOT TIME FO DAT :-) Im proud of u and I just wanted u to kno that Im keepin my tabs on you. Ur in my prayers always, keep up ur writing, I dig it n please be safe.

ReplyDeleteOctopus on a stick eh? That had to have made your day better. Not sure what happened after 12pm but like the above friend stated, you made it to Shanghai boo, you should be siked! Don't let small things block the bigger picture. Be safe and have a blast!
